3D Import

Import 3D mesh files and STEP files into AdaShape.

AdaShape can import geometry from 3D mesh files and precision STEP files.

3D mesh files — formats such as OBJ, STL, FBX, PLY, 3MF, and others. Drop a file into the viewport or use File → Import 3D. Mesh healing is applied automatically on import.

STEP files — the standard exchange format for precision CAD data. Drag and drop or use File → Import 3D. Geometry is tessellated into a mesh ready for boolean operations and export.
