The 3D Workspace

The viewport, display controls, and rendering settings that shape how you see and work with your model.

The 3D workspace is where you build and inspect your model. The viewport fills the center of the screen. The toolbar runs along the top and gives you access to display controls, layer toggles, and workspace settings.

The pages in this section cover the controls that change how you see your model — not the model itself.

In This Section

  • Rendering Modes Switch between Default, Studio, and Present rendering modes to control how your model looks in the viewport.
  • Display Units Set whether numeric values display in centimeters, millimeters, or inches throughout the application.
  • Tessellation Resolution Control mesh density for modeling performance vs. geometric precision — reduce during editing, increase before export.
