Box
Create a rectangular solid with configurable width, depth, and height.
A box is a rectangular solid — six flat faces, all corners at right angles. It is the starting point for anything rectilinear: enclosures, brackets, bases, walls.
Adding a Box
Click the Add Box button in the toolbar. A box appears in the scene at the current position.
Parameters
Select the box to see its parameters in the Value References panel.
| Parameter | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Width | Size along the X axis |
| Depth | Size along the Y axis |
| Height | Size along the Z axis |
Type a value directly into any field, or drag the on-screen handle to adjust interactively.
Adjusting size with on-screen handles
When a box is selected, drag handles appear at two of its corner points. Drag a corner handle to change the shape of the cube.
Next steps
Use Boolean Cut to remove material — for example, cut a cylinder into a box to create a hole. Use Scale Selected to resize after placement. Use the Position Editor to set an exact location.
